DrupalSouth Wellington 2014 - Call for regional volunteers

We're looking for volunteers outside of Wellington that can be regional leads for DrupalSouth Wellington 2014.

What is a Regional Lead?

A regional lead will be a member of the DrupalSouth Wellington 2014 conference team based outside of Wellington and is primarily responsible for promoting the event in their region by rasing awareness through local meetups.

As a regional lead, you'll be given all the information and promotional material you need to promote the event including some sweet stickers to hand out at meetups.

A regional lead must have reasonable people skills. Any past experience organising events, small or large would be a great asset.

Does DrupalSouth need a lead for my region?

Are there 5 or more people in your area that might come to DrupalSouth or could be perswaded? Then yes! Some areas that we'd like to have leads in are:
