Start:
2009-10-15 18:30 - 21:30 Australia/Sydney Organizers:
Event type:
User group meeting
The announcement is a bit delayed, but we continue to have our regular meetup on the 3rd thursday of each month.
This month's meetup will be Thursday, October 15th.
Unfortunately last month the ABC had to close because of a fire drill, but there was a social meetup that went quite well. I am trying to reconfirm that we can still use the ABC this month for our normal set of presentations and support sessions, otherwise we will hold another social meetup.
Please sign up so I can plan for numbers and I will post the details as soon as they are confirmed.
Lots to talk about so I hope to see a big turn out this month!

Venue Confirmed - ABC
Just a note that we have confirmed the venue for the event to be at the ABC like we usually do. I'll make some edits to the post with an agenda and send out a reminder email later tonight.
I'd like to find someone who would like to get a short presentation on a new module they've seen or a new site they've recently launched. Please post here or contact me directly http://groups.drupal.org/user/645/contact

2 sites
I thought I could quickly talk about the 2 sites I launched recently:
http://cancerconnections.com.au/ and explain a little bit about the challenges I faces working on a multi-language environment including LTR languages
http://www.asix.org.au/ and talk a little bit about my experience using panels 3.
Happy to talk about only one or spend a bit of time talking about both.

I think they look like really
I think they look like really interesting sites to have a look at. We need more of these show and tells. So +1 from me.
Can't make it
Hi Ryan,
I'm still north side and would be late. From memory you have to have everyone go into ABC center on the dot at 6.30pm, so I will have to miss this one. Sorry
Tim
Still come
Hey Tim,
We won't go upstairs until 7 (which is why i want everyone to show up at 6:30) and you can always ring me if you're late. Security can also notify us I think.
Hope you still come!
