Welcome to the second Brisbane Drupal Meet-up for 2010.
Jeff from Marmaladesoul will be presenting on "Build a basic Drupal site". If you're interesting in seeing the basic building blocks of Drupal in action, a little CSS and some module config, come along! He plans to build an actual site from scratch during the course of the night… should be an interesting evening!
Same time (6pm for a coffee/meal and 7pm for the discussion), same place:
Cafe 26 26 Station Rd, Indooroopilly (halfway between Indro shopping centre and the train station. View location on Google Maps) 6pm for a coffee/meal and 7pm for the presentation

Sorry to hear you can't make it this time.
Just as a reminder to those who weren't at the first meeting, the meet-ups this year will generally be on the first Tuesday of each month. However, I do apologise for the late announcement... Kat, who is taking on more of the planning for meet-ups, is kind-of out of action today... she had a baby last night which I think is a reasonable excuse :)
Things should improve over time, and we have a schedule planned out already for the remainder of the year.

There has been some interesting discussion on DrupalSouth.net.nz about running a Drupal event/camp/conference in February in Brisbane, perhaps close to LCA 2011. If you are interested please read the discussion before tonights meetup so that you can up to date with online discussion.
