Collaborating in a land of open spaces, a land of wide open plains.
Hi,
I'm currently studying up on some new practices and when I'm done, I should share the knowledge with all you guys. But this means putting together a few slides and traveling to the nearest Drupal meet to give a presentation. So only my local group benefits directly. The rest of Australia will never know how awesome I am and that breaks my heart.
Because we already spend a considerable effort getting everyone in the same place and time, I was thinking that some collaboration tool webinar thingy would really be of benefit to this community. So community members could give a presentation online!
Does anyone know of any tools we could use? The logistics?

powerpoint 2010
if you use powerpoint 2010 you can broadcast your slideshow. using a ustream account would allow you to create a video presentation that others can share in while you ran your slide show and allow them to chat back, and there are plenty of other options as well. slide deck allows you to post your slides up to the net as a slide deck that can be shared to others.
Cheers
one of those thingys
I was thinking about one of those screen sharing apps. KatteKrab mentioned: http://www.dimdim.com/community/opensource.html
drupal dojo mojo, go!
I think you should present as part of Drupal Dojo http://groups.drupal.org/drupal-dojo
It would be really good to see some dojos in our time zone and you will potentially reach a larger audience.
