Toda América Latina celebra el mayor encuentro Drupal del año 2012!
Por fin podemos anunciar oficialmente el lanzamiento del mayor evento Drupal del año 2012: "Drupal Summit Latino – Guadalajara 2012".
Guadalajara (Jalisco - México) será la sede del segundo evento a nivel latinoamericano dedicado a Drupal los días 19, 20 y 21 de Enero de 2012, en el CUECA de la Universidad de Guadalajara.
Tendremos un sin fin de conferencias dictadas por reconocidos y experimentados drupaleros provenientes de varios países de América Latina, Estados Unidos y Europa.
Se espera la presencia de más de 400 participantes lo que será sin duda alguna, a nivel continental, la mayor concentración jamás vista de experiencia y conocimiento sobre el software de publicación de sitios Web más exitoso del momento: Drupal por supuesto!
¡ Te invitamos a proponer una sesión para Drupal Summit Latino 2012 ! Por favor ten en cuenta que la fecha límite para las propuestas es el 14 de diciembre 2011.

Como cada año desde 2009, representantes de nuestros países buscan la oportunidad de juntarse. Si vienes a DrupalCon Chicago busquemos la diversidad porque eso enriquece el diálogo. Y de nuestra parte vamos a asegurarnos de separar un espacio en la pizarra de BoF.
Agenda
No hay una agenda fija, aunque se realizarán diversas actividades grupales y cada sesión podría tomar unas 2 horas según la disponibilidad que tengamos. Si eres líder de una comunidad local (o quieres serlo), realmente no deberías faltar a estas reuniones :D

Lima (Perú) alojará el primer evento a nivel latinoamericano dedicado a Drupal los días 27, 28 y 29 de Enero de 2011.
Tendremos 36 conferencias dictadas por reconocidos y experimentados drupaleros provenientes de varios países de América Latina, Estados Unidos y Europa.
Se espera la presencia de más de 300 participantes lo que será sin duda alguna, a nivel continental, la mayor concentración jamás vista de experiencia y conocimiento sobre el software de publicación de sitios Web más exitoso del momento: Drupal por supuesto!

The Content Problem.
One of the things that was discussed last night wasn't specific to Drupal, but can affect how good a website is: content. Nesta and myself seem to be content guys, amongst other things - so if a site is needing content, you might be able to convince us with enough pizza and cash to help out in that area. Having Drupal folk do the content on a Drupal site can make a difference, methinks.

Ok guys as i said at the little meet yesterday just to do a little showcase of what projects we are currently working on / Finished etc with a little note or two.
Please note i do work on a ongoing basis with these sites so most them will look rushed and not finished but they will get better with time like fine wine.

I am Samy a french man living and married in T&T.
I am very enthousiast about Drupal and webdesign and would like to meet with other Drupal fans in T&T.

Trinidad Drupal Meetup - 1st meeting ever!
This will just be a social Drupal meeting so that we can get to know each other better and actually physically meet the face behind the Drupal account!
I'm thinking let me just throw out a meeting and see what kind of response will turn up. I have proposed a date 3 weeks in advance to give everyone enough time.

Largest drupal membership base in the Caribbean
According to this link we have the largest membership base in the Caribbean (at the time of writing, 11). The closest is Jamaica with 7 members. I would love to have Drupal meetups here in Trinidad and Tobago but would that make sense given our small numbers? If 1 person turned up and we shared knowledge, I'd still love that!
