July monthly meetup
We are BACK, and based on feedback received from some, the meeting day is MOVING from the 4th Tue. of the month, to the 4th THURSDAY of the month. The hours stay the same 7pm to 9pm.
We will meet on Thursday, July 28th at Caroline Collective (4820 Caroline Houston, TX 77004) at 7pm till 9pm
Some of the things we would like to discuss during this meeting are: Creating an agenda from topics/presentations for future meetups, and call for volunteers for the next 2012 Southwest Drupal Summit.

Looking for someone in the Houston area to help me build a Drupal site
I'm looking for someone to help me build a site with Drupal. I know what I want the site to do (e-commerce, gallery, search, membership, shopping cart, etc.), but I don't know anything about programming and need help putting it all together. I already have: domain name, hosting through inmotion, logo, color scheme, etc. Can anyone recommend someone who might be able to help build a site for a reasonable rate? I don't have a big budget for this. Web design firms in town have quoted $5 - $20K! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Build-a-thon for non-profit in Chicago, reminiscent of our own Fort Bend Womens Center event

However, even after all that apparent effort, they've currently got more Builders than Non-Profits.
Are we doing something as crazy again this Fall? I had a lot of fun and little sleep, but I would love to repeat. Maybe a little less involved than a full e-commerce and volunteer management juggernaut of a system, we should instead blend great design with simple content management.

Each day will feature a keynote speaker followed by three tracks of sessions all day. Breakfast and lunch are included in the nominal registration fee. Come to both days for $70, or just the Saturday Drupal Camp for $35.

Hi all, this month we're planning to do something fun to send Jason off as he moves out of the great state of Texas.

GoDaddy, Cron, Cron.php, Stuck longer than an hour :(
So I'm stuck trying to handle a situation on a GoDaddy hosted account. Everything is wonderful, I'm really 99.9% pleased with the hosting and MySQL capabilities of GoDaddy over the client's previous hosting solution.
However, the 0.1% that is NOT happy, is causing some serious problem. Cron.

We just have a splash page up for now. But the real site is coming soon with details on registration, speakers, submitting sessions, after parties, and accommodations.
