Through meetups and other events, the organizers in the Greater Los Angeles Area volunteer their time to promote Drupal and foster open-source community. If you'd like to join this list of volunteers, please talk with any of the organizers listed above or join the discussion in our Governance Wiki or at any of our governance meetups.
Several of these organizers have had a history of working and socializing together, referring leads to one another or otherwise coworking together. This is a side effect of having a fun, healthy professional environment and is not a primary reason for organizing or moderating this group.
