We are planning to hold some rotating meetings this upcoming year. We would like to continue a rotation between communities every few months or so. If you would like to host a meeting in your community, go for it!
Welcome to the Drupal groups page of the Drupalhawks user group. We are a collection of Drupal enthusiasts from Eastern Iowa. of all skill levels that meet on a regular basis to learn, share the things we've figured out, and spread the good word about Drupal. If that description matches you, we encourage you to join. Our meeting list can be found below.

Problem with Feeds and Parser Settings
I've installed and enabled Feeds and several (common syndication, iCal, REGEX) parser plug-ins but when I visit admin/build/feeds to configure a feed importer NONE of the parsers that I have tried present any configurable settings. I've tried this in a couple of different themes including Garland...nothing.
The admin URL that I end up at is always:
/admin/build/feeds/edit/feed/settings/FeedsParser. Am I looking in the wrong spot or missing something here? Anybody else encountered this kind of behavior and found a way around it?

Interest in Waterloo/Cedar Falls events
I've been a lurker on this group for awhile now and unfortunately I won't be able to attend the upcoming August 2 meeting. However, I've heard there might be some interest in some alternate meetings in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. If there is that interest, I would be willing to organize a meeting place on campus at UNI.
There are quite a few Drupal folks on campus and we've started an internal discussion about this on our listserv as well. I'm really curious who else is in the Wloo/CF area and would find this useful.

It's not like me but I've gotten ahead of myself. I am now posting a notice for a meeting that is not until late August. School will be back in session. And the university students will have returned with all their infections. hehe.
John Rearick has graciously volunteer to talk about SEO. This is a deep topic of great importance that is more often an after thought then properly thought out and incorporated as part of the development/content creation cycle.

Time flies faster and faster. John tells me that that perception comes because I'm old (or getting). I hate when he is right on things like this. could some just stop the clock for one minute! Luckly, I realized early enough to organize something special.
