Drupal Global Training Days

As part of Drupal Global trainings days event, We will have half day training on Drupal 8.

The training will cover:
- What is Drupal?
- Drupal Installation
- Drupal Basics for site Builders.
- Brief on how Drupal Community works.

The event will take place @KLAB Kigali / Rwanda

What is Drupal? Drupal is a powerful content management system, which has great standard features such as reliable performance and excellent security.

Perhaps you don’t know anything about this CMS, but we are ready to help you.

We know Drupal and now we want to share our experience with you.
GTD is a great opportunity to do it. The next Drupal Global Training Day will be held on March, 17.

The event includes a rich theoretical program. And for those who want to try their hand, we made a practical part.

City University Peshawar is the venue for Global Training Day, January 27, 2018. We will run two concurrent sessions for Professionals and Newbies. Timings are 9:00am to 5pm

If you are new to sprints, we'll be running the new contributor onboarding (a Drupal Global Training Days session in conjunction with the 2018 Drupal Global Sprint Weekend - Boston). No experience required.

We'll start at the beginning, and cover the various aspects of working in the Drupal issue queue. Every aspect is hands on to get you contributing as quickly as possible, including:

• setting up and using common development tools on your laptop
• adopting Drupal best practices
• unearthing an issue from the vast list of choices

Well, then if you can’t make it to BAH on Friday for the Drupal4Gov half day, maybe join us on Saturday January 27th at Government CIO Magazine for a Drupal Global Training Day Docker workshop. This event will take place regardless of government operational status this coming week.

This workshop will walk you through how to build your own custom Docker container using Docker Compose.

This training is aimed at people just starting with Drupal. Basic concepts will be explained and later put into practice. The objective is that someone, who might not even know about Drupal, can understand the different concepts and building blocks to create a website. By the end of the day, a simple yet fully functional website will be built.
