October Meetup
Hey everyone,
This month we'll be talking a bit about getting involved with Drupal through "Google Code In" and "Google Summer of Code" in case people know of any high school or university students who want to get involved.
I'll also be covering a basic Drupal 7 theming process(working from base themes) and if there's time, I'll demo CLIP: http://clip.harvestapi.io/ an SMS application built with Drupal and powered by a local SMS gateway created by Sumo, one of our own community members: http://www.rocketsms.co/ .

Hey everyone,
I'd like to suggest we have our October meetup next week. Who is up for it?
Is Wednesday or Thursday better for people? Please vote here: https://groups.drupal.org/node/445378
Some possible topics are:
*Drupal services and mobile apps
*D6 to D7 or other site migrations
*Handling media with drupal
*Sending SMS messages with Drupal
Let me know if people are interested in any of these. The venue for this meetup will be our shared office space in Half Way Tree.
Add your comments below. Also let me know if you want to suggest another time/date.

Special May meetup
Hey everyone,
How's it going? I don't think we've had a meetup yet this year! I hope this means our May meetup will be a big one. I have a feeling it will be, especially for experienced developers looking for work. Is anyone going to Drupalcon in Austin, Texas this year? Let me know if you are planning to be there.
