How about a meetup?
Hello, Knoxville group members!
It has been many months since the Knoxville group has had a meetup. The last few were not attended particularly well. Let's see if we can fix that.
I have just posted some poll questions to find out if there is enough interest to restart our group and find out what kinds of programs work best.

The DrupalCamp Chattanooga has been delayed until later in the year.
As soon as I can organize a new venue, a new date will be published - that won't conflict with other local camps.
You can sign up for the mailing list for up to date information as it becomes available at www.drupalcampchattanooga.com

Calling all Nashville Drupalers! In case you haven't noticed, there is no DrupalCampNashville this year, but there is—with your help—going to be a DrupalCampChattanooga, and my buddy Lee Walker could really use your help. He's discovering how lonely it is at the top when trying to make these camps happen.
We need volunteers!

I've been talking about it for years.
This year I will actually do it.
Drupal Camp Chattanooga will happen this spring. (Exact date to be decided April or May most likely)
As Drupal Camp Nashville looks like it won't happen in 2013, lets have a Tennessee camp in Chattanooga at about he usual time for Nashville.

As soon as we set a definitive date, I'll create a g.d.o event.

Code Sprint
Hi everyone!
I humbly propose that we devote a few hours some weekend to the Tennessee Clean Water Network web site (tcwn.org). I just recently volunteered to help maintain the site, and it is way, way overdue for security updates.
It's a great D6 web site, but many of the custom modules and theme settings are not in the sites folder, and I need help sorting out what's under the hood. Once everything to its proper place future upgrades will go more smoothly.

Our meetings should have responsive design as our web pages do (or will). This month we are having a "mobile" gathering at Boyd's Jig and Reel in the Knoxville Old City for discussion and social interaction. No formal presentation unless Cindy wants to play the bagpipes.
Bring or send your suggestion on future get-togethers, either the "mobile" type group meeting or a "desktop" meeting at one of our places of business.
Looking forward to it.

Knoxville Drupal Group Meetup
The Knoxville Drupal Group will meet Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 7 pm - 9 pm in the Scripps Convergence Lab, 402 Communications Bldg, UTK campus. We're planning short presentations on "Responsive Theming for the new UTK template with Omega", and "Using Drush to Sync Between Development and Live Sites." Other topics are always welcome, if you have something you would like to share.
We hope you can join us! Bring your questions and ideas!

Webmaster Volunteer Needed for Environmental Non-Profit
I began working for the Tennessee Clean Water Network back in January as a part-time Administrative Assistant. We had a volunteer that created our website: www.tcwn.org, but he has since moved to California.
In googling webmaster knoxville Drupal, I discovered this group. I am hoping someone can help us with the website going forward. We do the day in/day out updates, so it would be a very once in awhile task.
