What's going on with DrupalCon Chicago? Are people already registering and setting dates and times to be there? What about transportation? I'm wondering how many days to book in Chicago.

I've got a ticket but not reservations
So I bought my drupalcon ticket, but am kinda up in the air about the logistics thus far. I definitely can't afford to stay in drupal tower unless I find someone(s) who want to share a room. I was hoping to talk about it at January's Meeting or the 7 on 7 release party.

I booked for the week and the towers also -- it's a birthday present to myself -- still hoping that we have the bus to get there -- have time for that --

I'm going, too
I've signed up for a pre-conference training, the con, and I'm planning to stay for the sprints on the 11th. I'm staying in the towers and I hope to take the Twin Cities Drupal User Group WiFi Sprint Bus (party!) down to Chicago on Sunday, March 6 and back on Saturday, March 12.
Sprint-to-Drupalcon Bus
On that bus: we are organizing a wi-fi enabled, Drupal sprint bus (with other amenities as well) to leave on the Sunday and return on the Saturday (per mtifts comment above). There will be an official announcement sometime a bit later this month, but seats will be limited to about 50 people. This may be as good a place as any to start expressing interest in jumping on board!

There are at least a 3 or 4 of us down at The Nerdery that are planning on attending the convention, but we'll likely be arranging our own transportation individually. I'm personally interested in joining forces on the Drupalbus!
