Another good meeting this evening with lots of information shared. Here are some websites of interest, if I missed any, I hope the other attendees will add them in.
Pipes - http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/ - A web application that allows a user to build a pipe of data from multiple data sources and filter that data on user criteria. For example, you might have 10 feeds you read that have some content you'd like to skip. Create a pipe that has 10 sources for your feeds, then add in criteria to skip items that include words or other criteria. The cool thing about this tool is the GUI tool for creating the pipes, see this video
Scribefire - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1730 - The other item is a blog editor that is Firefox add-on. It allows you to create blog posts in an editor in Firefox, drag in text from web pages and other cool stuff then post the entry to your blog. It also has some options for sharing your page with some of the social sites.
Viddler.com - http://www.viddler.com/, a video sharing site. The interesting thing is that it allows you to share videos at different sizes and resolutions and has some features different from youtube.
UCAN site - http://www.ucan.org/ - A website using Drupal with the Panels module to display different content on the site.
Drupal Modules - http://drupalmodules.com/ - If you're like me and have gotten frustrated with searching for modules on drupal.org then check out this site. It has a search function and a rating system for finding modules that adds some nice improvements beyond what is on the drupal.org site. Check it out and see what other people think of modules you may want to try out.
