Hey Everybody,

Achieve Internet will be hosting a Poker Night on Thursday the 31st. The event will be $20 to join in the poker tourney, with all cash donations will go to the American Lung Association. A raffle will also be held with drawings held throughout the night. Achieve Internet will provide snacks, beer and cocktails.

We're getting together next Wednesday for some beer and Drupalling*. Wonderland in Ocean Beach is a nice big place with good selection and food. They have a happy hour until 6 and Taco Wednesday specials all day. Starts at 5pm, and by 7pm, we're only talking Drupal in a figurative sense.

This weekend several locations around the world have coordinated sprints on various Drupal 8 iniatives and development tasks.

Happy Holidays Drupalers. This month we're meeting up at Porters Pub for drinks instead of our usual meeting spot. This will just be about hanging out, drinking beer, and maybe talking a little Drupal at the bar. We'll get back to our regular ways to kick off next year, but join us for the last SDDUG meeting of 2012 with a celebration at Porter's Pub!

AchieveInternet's and San Diego's very own Roberto Montero is heading off to the Bay Area, and I will miss him lots! You might know him from all the volunteer work he's doing for the user group and SandCamps since 2010, or from just being a generally friendly guy who's always willing to help with your Drupals. In either case, there will be a little beer & grill get-together today to say Farewell until BADCamp :)

Master Chef Lee Regan is providing the venue and the menu, and I'll be bringing a couple of Booty Boxes from Mission Brewery.
