Register here to come along to the apps4nsw developer day on Saturday 19 February 2011 at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, managed by Web Directions.

Over the last year the NSW Government has been creating new data sets that can be put to use in all kinds of web apps and solutions. This event, hosted by The Department of Services, Technology and Administration, gives web designers and developers the opportunity to turn NSW Government data into practical, easy to use applications.

The apps4nsw developer day will kick off with some short presentations on some of the data sets, and NSW Government representatives will be there to help you throughout the day as you work on your app.

Then at 6.00pm all work is submitted and the judging takes place while we share some food and drink and talk about the day's activities. Around 7.00pm the winners will be announced and we'll have a small award ceremony.

Just bring your laptops, your skills and plenty of enthusiasm - this will be a long but very rewarding day.

Agenda for the day ================
8.00am - 9.00am: Registration and orientation
9.00am - 9.30am: Introduction - presentations on the data sets
9.30am - 6.00pm: Design and code like there's no tomorrow
6.00pm: Work submitted
6.00pm - 7.00pm: Judging
7.00pm: Winners announced and awards ceremony
9.00pm: Finish
