Does anyone know if there is a group setting I need to tweek to make it so the Node Type menu is populated (see screenshot). Or is this a bug in gdo?

Is it because you are already
Is it because you are already subscribed to all node types, so you cannot add a new one to subscribe to?
Hmm...
I don't have node type available for any of my gdo groups.
On this group I get an email if someone replies to a thread that I posted in. I don't get an email if someone posts a new thread. Myself and others would like to get emails for everything in this group.
Sounds like a gdo bug?
It'll sound lame but I edited my account to "Automatically enable notifications for any groups that I join." then quit this group and joined it again. This subscribed me to Berkeley Wiki page, Discussion, Job and Event.
I can't add node type subscriptions to any group I've already joined, even if the node type is subscribe-able, and it doesn't change if I drop my subscription to a node type.

Known issue
Editing this comment to add clarification:
This is a known issue - http://drupal.org/node/962424 where you cannot subscribe to specific content types.
I do get notifications for all new content posted, in additions to comments. Although subscribing to specific content types is not working, you could click on "Enable all subscriptions" (My Account> Notifications> Overview). Then disable any that you don't want.
Someone else recently contacted me wondering why they weren't receiving notifications, but discovered her emails were ending up in her deleted folder. I also recommend setting the interval to "Immediately" - I find the daily or greater options are less reliable.
Thanks...
It's not a mail filtering issue...
I have no such option. I only had cancel all subscriptions. I went to the length of canceling, to see if "Enable all" would show up, but (duh) it does not because now I have no subscriptions.
Michelle, can you re-enable me as an admin if I leave the group and re-join? Do you see "Admin: Create" on the list here http://groups.drupal.org/og/users/10018?
Subscriptions workaround
Brian, it seems the link is not there when all of your subscriptions are enabled. Try this: go to Subscription, select one or two and "Deactivate". Now go back to the Notifications > Overview page, and the "Enable all subscriptions" should be there. Click this, and I think everything you've previously disabled should be back - worked for me anyway.
But if that doesn't work - yes, I have the "Admin: create" link and can re-enable you as an admin if you want to drop and and re-join. Let me know if you do that.
Colleen's method worked
1. GDO > My Account > Notifications > Edit your notifications: Check: Automatically enable notifications for any groups that I join.2. leave the group
3. rejoin the group
4. Check: My Account > Notifications > Subscriptions
