If the Limerick meetings are
If the Limerick meetings are anything like the OWASP Denver meetings it should be worthwhile. Some security professionals approach security in ways that are philosophically different than Drupal (e.g. treating usernames as secret information, filtering on input rather than output) but if you can catch the meta concepts these are great educational events to broaden the knowledge/skill base of Drupalers.
