GSoC : Providing an easy means to mine documentation or connect Drupal to Drupal users to solve issues quickly

I want to contibute to Drupal as a student in GSsoc 2011.This idea stuck me while i was using the documentation of Drupal 7 while working on a drupal project.

In my opinion the searching content on drupal is a bit difficult to use specially retrieving the information you need is a bit difficult.Due to the expanse of the documentation and lack of external support , it takes time to go through the matter , post your query , get the solution and move forward.Actually that is a problem with many open source tools.But drupal having such a vast drupal group can avail the advantages of it too.My idea is to have a messenger , rather a chat window for Drupa to Drupal users who have registered online.Being such a big community providing such an interface will give us (drupal users) to quickly connect and solve issues which otherwise would takes longer.

Also , most of the times the doubts we have have already been posted and solved but they do not show up on the search results.Well , i dont know if we can refine the searching techniques also , but this get connect on the chat window could help drupal users.

It's a vague idea , any suggestions will be highly appreciated.I want more and more people to end up using Drupal 7 as their best choice for a CMS.So lets help them get the best information needed for that rather than hunting down the answers in the documentation.
