Making evening meetups is difficult for me; maybe for you, too. So I was thinking about lunchtime meetups, wondering if there would be any interest in the idea with the members of this group.

I agree that it would have to be mostly discussion. Probably wouldn't even bother bringing a laptop. Since I work in Princeton, it would have to be within reasonable driving distance. Or, if only every once in a while, slightly less reasonable driving distance.

It could be an brown-bag seminar kind of thing. Depending on the number of attendees, we could meet in my conference room, have lunch and talk up a topic. Computer and projector would both be available.
