Hey Bro. We invite you to come to Poland. Unfortunately, our reality is brutal. Business in Gdansk is still at a very early stage of development. Developer Salaries range from 600 to 1500 pounds in your currency.
We often work on weekends. During the week we are working ten hours a day. Generally, it is hard to get us a good job not to mention other comforts such as a house or a car.
But we Poles are smart and that's why more and more migrate to other countries for work purposes. If you are looking for talented programmers I propose you to advertise on our Gdansk Drupal group.

I just took a look at my emails and comments that were submitted after I had posted a Drupal Dev job description in here. I'm very surprised that we complain about a difficult economic situation, but to be honest I haven't gotten any reasonable responses to my posting, and I think it's very discouraging. The opportunity that we offer is very promising, which opens many doors, and the world is still small! Why not to take a chance?

This is a group mainly directed towards Drupal fans from Gdansk in Poland. You propose a job in USA and do not allow working from remote. It's no surprise you do not get many responses.
How many people willing to relocate to another continent would you expect to get out of the 23 members of this group?
Yes, you are right! It might be complicated and I know it from my own experience, but it's possible.
Unfortunately, challenging fast paced government projects are uneasy to manage the remote work. I will keep an eye on Gdansk group once we get some openings in Poland, or anywhere close by, though.
