Location
Choose a location which is easy to reach. If attendees need to work through complex visa applications, or the city itself is hard to reach by transport, think your proposal through again. It is a good idea to think about having enough housing in the city, possibly close to the venue. If there are tourist attractions in the city, or extra programs around the event, you can attract more people to come. Some attendees may even bring their families, if the location looks like fun to stay.

- bereikbaarheid: goed uitwerken want (zwakker punt) de andere candidaten zijn grotere steden met waarschijnlijk betere bereikbaarheid
- uitzoeken wat de beste luchthavens voor maastricht zijn
- treinreistijden naar naburige grote steden
- aangeven hoe centraal maastricht ligt tov DE, BE en NL
- maastricht heeft voldoende accommodatie. maar ook betaalbaar? je hebt er een leuke stay okay.
- moeten er "conference"-hotels gezocht worden?

- als we de univ. m'tricht zover kunnen krijgen dan scoren we hier goed mee want zij heeft toffe locaties in het oude stadscentrum, vlakbij alle culinaire actie en de terrassen van t vrijthof
