While we meet regularly onsite at NJIT, in order to maintain some momentum on our fledgling group project we had agreed to meet offsite in between our onsite meetings.
However, the day and time (and perhaps even the location) are in question.
So: What day would you like to meet?
What time would you like to meet?
Where would you like to meet?
It would be great to have some consensus by our next regular meeting.
Thanks,
Tom

Lots of Drupal scheduled on Wednesdays
Last night was a one-off for me; most of my Wednesdays are free for the next few months.
However, I'm torn about having the off-site meeting on Wednesdays. I think it'd be nice to have a consistent schedule, but I know there are many local Drupal events (NYC beers and NYC meetups) that are also on Wednesdays. For me personally, I get a bit "Drupalled out", perish the thought.
As for time and location, 7 or 7:30 works for me. I think for now, IRC works just fine. No one has to travel unnecessarily, and it alleviates logistical issues.
Goal of Project
I just want to make sure we keep in mind the original goal of this project is to train less advanced Drupal users/developers/designers/etc. If we meet on our own or in smaller groups, we'll shift to a goal of just completing the project.
While meeting once a month will take a long time to finish this site, it will give us the best chance at having everyone looking to learn available. My personal preference would very little actual development or changes happen outside of the monthly meeting, and any offsite communication be discussion with the site owner to make sure they have everything we need for the meetings.
That being said, I'd love to have a set time on IRC that those with more knowledge are available for those still learning; and therefor not exclude anyone.

Goal of Project
The goal of the "off-site" meeting was to discuss the best ways to insure that there is a process in place to connect those in need of some guidance with those that can give it. Who hasn't experienced some frustration while learning something about Drupal?
We made a great start by sharing all of our email addresses, another step might be to pair up learners with a single point of contact who may have an answer or know of someone in the group who would be a better match to help with a given problem. At the meetup, we discussed having a list of tasks on Google docs that people could choose from and do. I'm a strong proponent of hands on learning so this is an attractive approach to me. However, I want to be sure that there is a clear path to help should it be needed. Your preference that very little development happens outside of the monthly meeting, is counter to the original discussion that we had at the meetup. That doesn't mean that I'm opposed to it, but I think it's worth a discussion.
We're all on the same page regarding the goal of the project "to train less advanced Drupal users/developers/designers/etc." We have a responsibility to create and implement the best possible environment towards that goal.
Perhaps this attempt at formalization was too far outside of the way things usually get done in an open source community, it was hoped that we might come up with some ways of improving the process.
I think your suggestion of a "set time on IRC that those with more knowledge are available for those still learning;" is a great one, lets do it.
With that in mind, what's a good day/time for everyone?
I'm in agreement here with
I'm in agreement here with Matt if we need to meet outside the monthly lets do it on IRC.
Since Wednesdays are 'Drupal' event days, how about next Tuesday evening.
Anywhere from 7:00PM+ is OK with me. Alternative day would be Thursday June 2nd same times.
Can't make this tuesday
This Tuesday is our performance date at 7:30, so I won't be able to make it this week.
Next Tuesday, 7pm
That date/time works for me.

Next Week
Either day looks good for me, though 7:30 would be better I can make 7:00 work.
Hoping to see more responses/participation here.
That Works
I'll probably be a little late to sign on, but I'll stay later if needed.
