Drupal Hack Fest

At the last meeting I proposed a 6 hr event to take our time and dig slowly into CCK and VIEWS for Drupal6. The reception was entertaining.
Seth had an excellent response. He suggested a "Drupal HackFest." It would be an opportunity for us to show up and be in the same room and work on our individual projects and help each other out.
I loved it!!!
So what do you say?
Let's take a Saturday and meet at our old Broadripple conference room at noon and just start plugging away.
Ben needs a CCK configuration that would satisfy a real estate site. [I can do that]
I have some theming questions that I know Aaron can walk me through.
I wouldn't mind walking a group through the creation of a custom module if the interest was there.
It could be somewhat of an openhouse with no real beginning or end, just pop in between noon and 4pm and do what you want to do for as long as you like.
If a number of you want to be walked through a CCK setup then we might agree to do that at a specific time, say - 1:30 maybe. otherwise the time is spent in a freestyle manner.
I'm going to do this even if its me, and 1 or 2 other cats hanging out for a couple of hours and then heading out.

I'm thinking Saturday Oct.11th 2weeks from the posting of this message.

If you are considering responding to this post then please let me know:
1] if an extended freestyle event would benefit you.
2] if 10/11/2008 is good
3] if noon to 4 would allow you to either make all or as much of the gig as you desire.
4] if any interest is out there for another round of CCK and/or a separate round of VIEWS2, or if even covering the Drupal 5 versions is desired. [these would require an agreed upon time and agreed upon scope]
