On Saturday August 20th, 2011, the Connecticut Drupal Groups will be hosting the 2nd annual DrupalCamp CT on Yale campus at Luce Hall. This is a great opportunity for fellow Drupalists in the New England/New York Drupal Groups to share and learn more about Drupal through interesting discussions, workshops, and a code-a-thons. Whether you are an experienced Drupal user or newcomer; seasoned professional or passionate hobbyist, please come and enjoy a day of learning.
Register, propose a session you would like to submit, learn more at our website at http://2011.drupalcampct.org
All are welcome but space is limited. Looking forward to another exciting learning event.
Thanks to Tom Sullivan and Matt Tarsi (Accession Media) for the development of the website. It looks great!

Any thoughts on...
Any thoughts on using the @drupalcampct Twitter account to get the information out there more?
I just got back from CapitalCamp in DC, and the Twitter account and hashtags seemed to be critical in keeping people engaged and informed during the event.
Thanks Matt, great
Thanks Matt, great suggestion. We have an account and are working on getting it running for this year.

Announcing DrupalCampCT Key Note Speaker - John Zavocki
We are proud to announce that John Zavocki will be our key-note speaker. John is currently working with Drupal Connect as Drupal Connect Evangelist and Development Guru. He has an unquenchable thirst for Internet technologies and a passion for web design. He uses his experience as an artist and a technologist to help bridge those two (seemingly) disparate worlds together for his clients.
John has been merging Art and Technology since the late 80s, his early days of college. His diverse abilities have lead him to make art in Tuscany, develop Flash applications for telecom behemoths, teach web design to college students, construct multimedia installations for the perfume industry and build websites for rock stars.
John holds a MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art and a BS in Web Technologies from the School of Hard Knocks. When not contributing to open source, he is engrossed in making figurative art. John thrives in Brooklyn with his wife, Kolton, and their two Macs.
