As a result of doing a bit of voluntary help with the Brighton Chamber of Commerce on their Drupal stuff they're helping us get the word out about our Drupal Discovery Day. As the current text is still a bit geeky for those who don't know what Drupal is we need to make some more words for 'normal' business people ;)
The Chamber have asked for three reasons why people should attend. At the moment I've been trying to work on one which is that Drupal enables access to Enterprise-level technology at SME prices, but that's still a little fluffy as what is Enterprise technology?!
I'll discuss this at the meeting tonight but thought I'd post here as well for those who aren't coming along tonight.

dumbing down text for businesses
Sorry, I've missed most of these sessions - though I'm just a voluntary sector fidler with drupal rather than it being my main job. Mind you I do a bit of wordsmithing and maybe I'm less encumbered by techspeak as a result. How about something really simple like:
'drupal helps you do what you want with your website, at prices you can afford'
maybe see you next month.

Hi John - no worries and thanks for the input!
There's 202 members in this club, no doubt a large majority who aren't in Brighton so don't worry about meetings if you can't make them, I just put them on in case people can so we have some local support.
Next time it'll be after DrupalCon London so no doubt a de-briefing is in order!
