Using Drupal 6 on new site which will have Ubercart for merchant account functionality. Do users have to be registered first via the site prior to using the credit card module via Ubercart?
If no can anyone provide me some coaching on the work around? Drupal developer team I'm working with are stuck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Anonymous checkout
Be sure you have anonymous checkout enabled under Checkout settings. Ubercart will ordinarily create a new user upon checkout and assign the purchase to the new user.

if you wish to not allow anonymous checkout, you can uncheck the box "enable anonymous checkout" on this page: http://www.yoursitename.com/admin/store/settings/checkout/edit
