Hello all,
I'm trying to get in touch with Drupal communities in Angola, Mozambique or Cape Verde.
As some of you know, there will be a 3rd DrupalCon sometime next year out of Europe / North America.. This one will be held in Brasil, and it would be an excellent opportunity for the Drupal communities in the Portuguese-speaking countries to meet, and to bring some of the exisiting experience in Brazil and Portugal to our African friends so that the Drupal community in these countries can thrive.
There's a lot of people from these countries registered in drupal.org (http://drupal.org/profile/country/Angola, http://drupal.org/profile/country/Mozambique and http://drupal.org/profile/country/Cape%20Verde), but there's no easy way to know who really lives there and if they're still active in Drupal.
Anyone here from those countries?

I just checked the people from Mozambique
and there are mor or less obvious spamming accounts "inflating" the numbers. Caveat emptor.
I do concur that we must find common ground and share experiences with the other portuguese speaking countries, besides Brazil.
At #drupalcon London I floated the idea to wundo of a IberoAmerican Drupalcon like event, joining the european (Portugal and Spain) and the American part (from Mexico to Argentina). It would be great to have (almost) all continents represented, including Africa and Oceania.
