Andy offered to chair a round table discussion about CSS or IE for the September meeting. I know, it's a disgusting topic. But most of us have been hit with some kind of IE quirk that cost us time, hair and sometimes even the will to live. So, bring your work-arounds, your conditionals, and your MS voodo dolls, and we'll have a good time.

I would also like to extend the topic a bit to include useful / entertaining sites and media and ways to convince the rest of the world to move on from certain outdated versions.

I'd like to check you guys out, but I am not free until 7pm so probably wouldn't get there until 7:30. Is it cool to come late?
What do you guys talk about, high falutin tech stuff?
I don't know Drupal well at all. In fact, I'm a novice at it but figured making connections, learning etc., might be a good idea.

It's totally fine to come late, though people cut out last month around 8, so it wouldn't give you a lot of time. Is this going to be your situation for all first Tuesdays, or just this coming one?

From your blog it looks like you won't be here too long, but I bet you money there will be a Drupal user's group wherever you end up in China, too. Open source seems to be even bigger in other countries.

Lots of stuff in Shanghai
Hi Chris, just happened to be looking at all my Drupal mail that gets forward to my inbox, and the very first one was your reply on here, and funny how I just spent two years doing nothing but Drupal in Shanghai, China, and you're right, it is really big here, lots of Drupal meet-ups, etc. Now I've moved on to work for ChinesePod.com and use Zend and PHP, so a new world for me is starting....
