Is the plan for this new Forum package to be developed for Version 5.0?
I see the target date is Feb 01 and that makse me think it maybe for V4.7.

Hi there,

I still haven't decided, now I am at the research stage.

I prefer to develop it for 5.0 but I won't redevelop most of the modules, so when I'll finish my research I'll see if the required modules exist for Drupal 5.0 and then I'll decide.

Developing for 4.7 doesn't make a lot of sense, imo...

5.0 will be out within a few weeks, after which point any new functionality will be coded for 5.0.

There will be some headaches with needing to update modules, but that has the advantage of helping other projects too.

Also, installation profiles are only valid on 5.0.
