Drupal Chennai Meet & DrupalCampDeccan

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

The turn out for the meet was not great, though many local Drupal organisations and developers have expressed interest in DrupalCampDeccan the turn out for the meeting was low!

On the brighter side, the meeting established a connect with IEEE.

We are working out a mutual program to take Drupal to Colleges starting 20th October 2011. Agenda would be to present Drupal, provide a hands on session on Drupal, present the student community the exciting opportunities Drupal opens out.

Good to hear the DrupalCamp Deccan torch was lit in chennai as well! I'm sure it's gonna pick up and more teams would join us all eventually.
