Annual DrupalGames!
Here's a write-up of the inaugural event last year http://growingventuresolutions.com/blog/fun-and-games-denver-drupal-meetup
Looking forward to it this year. More planning or figure it out there?
Planning
I've volunteered to organize this year. My general plan is to stick to the same structure as last year, which everyone seemed to enjoy, but pre-arrange as much as possible so we have more time to make awesome things. More specifically, I'm going to set up development environments in advance with Drupal 7 pre-installed along with each team's assigned modules. So we should be able to assign people to teams and get straight to the fun part.
I'm also being a little more selective in the modules so hopefully no one will end up with "the Twitter problem" that one poor team had last year (a module that doesn't currently work). And rather than a single winner, I'd like to do an "everyone's a winner" model, with the judging just a matter of creatively naming the contest each specific team wins, e.g. Best Use of Kittens.
That's my plan, anyway. If anyone has different ideas, there's still time to change.
Team Ace and their Prettiest Ballerina award...
We had a blast. Thanks for the award!
Drupal Games
Thanks for hosting the fun Drupal Games! I had fun working with the creative people of Team Ace.
