Hello everyone,

I haven't done much in these groups as of yet, just been hangin' out and watching how things get done, and learning. And man there's a lot of learning a person can do just by watching the threads.

I'm wondering what you guys find the best solution to be for maps in d6. Right now I'm using Gmap, and I'm sure I haven't used it to it's full potential yet, but I'd like to be able to put up the little clouds w/ notations, like you have when you use google maps online.

Thanks for any input,
Scott McKinnis

GMap is great

Hi, Scott. Count this as a second vote for GMap: I've never seen anything that approaches it.

Don't be surprised if you need to write custom code, though: One can do so much with mapping that it's easy to go beyond what comes with the module. But the Google Maps programming interface is flexible, and GMap has a lot built in, so it should be fine for most basic uses.

Good luck!

We use a combo of location/gmaps/views to create maps. Works like a charm.
