As discussed in Chennai Drupal Meet - 19-11-11 at UniMity Solutions we have planned to organize one day Drupal workshop in Jaya Engg College - FOSS Center on 3rd Dec 2011. As the title says, this workshop aims at students to give them an introduction to Drupal and site development in general. We believe this workshop will motivate a few students to choose Drupal as their career. Volunteers please add your name to Google Spreadsheet and help us to make this happen.
What is the Session about?
Understand the Open source Content Management System Drupal. Have hands on session on understanding how to install Drupal, key terminologies in Drupal & write a small custom module in Drupal.
We will also present the various career options that Drupal opens out to today’s graduates!

@ayushiinfotech, Thank you
@ayushiinfotech, Thank you for offering to help us. The plan is to give equal opportunity for everyone. Ideally one session per volunteer presenting before the screen and the rest will be assisting the students on the fly. Perhaps you and Shyamala can pair up and do the Intro and final summary together. Btw, now you will have the edit access to spreadsheet.
@kannappa, this workshop is meant for students if you are a drupal developer you are welcome to join us as a volunteer.
