Yeah it's pretty much just a simple quick install. Not much in the way of custom functionality, but it was a big help to this church to be able to give them some quality functionality with out much cost to them. The theme is just Ad Novus customized a bit. I did use Tiny TinyMCE and IMCE along with pathauto, but Clean Urls won't even work since it's on Godaddy hosting.

Anyway check it out I think it's a good example of what you can do in literally less then two hours of work and still create a good site for a church who otherwise wouldn't have a site or worse would have a bad site.

Thanks for posting this link. It's pretty cool how much you can do with drupal in just a couple hours.

So, I'm fairly new to drupal and am working on making a site with it right now. Quick question, what type of block is that on the left side that you put the service times into?

Pretty impressive for a quick install.
I hope to start building sites like this to help out some small churches and ministries.
Thanks for sharing!

I use pathauto and clean

I use pathauto and clean urls on godaddy hosts... fyi.

transferred a site in dev from my mbp to godaddy (client had signed up for it.... oh well). clean urls were ready to go as soon as I put up the htaccess. Also running pathauto.

Gotta say though, I've never had a clean transfer of drupal from a host to another. number fields get screwed up, and this time I had to delete and re-import each view - then worked fine so not tooo bad but still I'd like to figure out the trick to make it transfer clean and ready to go - because I like to start dev on my laptop - much easier & quicker to make file changes.
