Greetings -
I am a brand-new Drupal user who is working with my other 3 brand-new-Drupal-user co-workers to take on finishing the development of our new website now that we have had staff shrink due to the economy. And it's past time for me to learn how to do this stuff!!!
I'm the founding Executive Director (and now more of a rank-and-file staff person) of a national grassroots advocacy group (current antiquated site: www.champnetwork.org) fighting for better HIV/AIDS policies in the United States. We are also a member of May First People Link (www.mayfirst.org)
I'm interested in bartering for Drupal tutoring and support as we plunge into this exciting endeavor...
I can offer skills in editing, organizational development and other kinds of planning, executive director coaching, developing and using strategic communications plans, media spokesperson and source skills, advocacy, speaking skills, inter-generational community organizing and other sorts of things.
I live in Providence, RI.
Thanks for any ideas or suggestions about proceeding in this regard.
Best,
Julie

How about March 14th?
I could come down to Providence on a Saturday and provide some training.
I'm working on some education and direct action with the LGBT community and could use some guidance.
Thanks for offering the skill share!
another date possible?
that sounds fantastic - but I'm away that weekend, and then either have family visiting or am away the other Saturdays this month... Any chance we could do this coming weekend and/or I could come out to Boston on the train one evening?
Thanks so much!
Julie
Be sure to get to meetups, too!
Our normally small MetroWest Meetup is a great place to ask questions, and we're looking to participate in a nice and small monthly Providence meetup too! The next meetups though are the big Boston one with DrupalCon reportback to be held in our own little Natick (March 9) and then a larger one in Providence sometime around the end of the month, hosted by the Lullabots.
