Join the Niagara gang for a HandsOn problem sovling session to tackle problems you might be having with your Drupal site.

Be prepared to bring:

  • Your laptop
  • Some way for others to see your code: We'll have a projector.
  • A concise description of the problem
  • What you've done so far to try and solve it
  • Links to the research you've done to solve the problem.
  • Money to pay for people's time in beer :D

There's also 50 cent wings that night.

Sorry I won't be able to make it up to Niagara in person for this event. We should add this type of "fun" to the schedule for our next WNY Drupal Camp. We are exploring hosting it here in Rochester. Hope you can come!

We had a small but concentrated session. The main topic ended up being best practices for a single-user dev environment on Pantheon. A good portion of it went to troubleshooting the Drupal module Pantheon Migrate, which is designed to make it easier to upload your localdev site to their hosting platform. The glitch seemed to be related to a document root that had a space character in it—like C:\Program Files (x86). Imagine that. At any rate, having future hands-on sessions via the web is in the picture.
