Happy New Year...
Last fall there was some discussion about holding the 2012 DrupalCamp in May. The key reasons were that there would be affordable venues (ie. universities) and it would be possible to do the usual Friday/Saturday split (no conflict with classes).
If we do want to go for May, we'll need to start planning right away--things were a little rushed last year.
I've been talking to Jenna who helped organize 2011 and she says Myplanet can play a similar role in the organizing this year's camp. Also, tying in with the Drupal Business Summit was instrumental in attracting a number of the sponsors, so this is something we should discuss for this time around.
So, to kick things off, how does everyone feel about May for Drupalcamp?

The topics change, but in general you get to learn a lot, whether you are a beginner or an advanced user.
