Presentation idea
I'd be game for a "main" presentation - though I'm happy for help on the specific topic.
One thought is, "10 (or whatever) things I wish I'd known about Drupal freelancing." I've made the transition in the last year to paying my mortgage primarily with Drupal, and I can't believe the tips and tricks I picked up along the way that would have helped on day 1. I haven't worked up the list yet, but if anybody has experiences you think would be good to include, I'd love to hear them.
I envision a mix of kinda-technical things (git workflow, project management software) and business process stuff.
Thoughts?
I think this could be a great
I think this could be a great presentation or even a moderated discussion. Even though the main focus is freelancing, it'd be really nice to throw in some discussion of how the same things would apply or adapt to non-freelance environments (e.g. how would the git workflow be adapted for a group of developers).
Would love to hear your story as a presentation
Hi Brad, I think hearing your story would be a great presentation as well and then include "your" list at the end. Then we could maybe add to it in a 10 minute free-for-all at the end with everyone else shouting out their tips/tricks and you adding them to the "user contributed" section of your list. Thanks.

Presentation Idea
I have a couple of projects I would like to show-n-tell including a custom LMS, custom news section of a site, custom recurring payment system, custom time management system that is connected to an android tablet app through the interwebs, custom resource scheduling system inspired by phpScheduleIt, web site built for the state of Colorado. I would like to run through these quickly to show how truly custom you can get with Drupal. Only if you don't already have an agenda. Let me know. I also have a nice resource list to share. Thx

Ray, That sounds like a lot
Ray,
That sounds like a lot of interesting stuff! I think we're set on having Brad present about Freelancing tips for the main 15 minute presentation. We're still open for 5 minute lightning presentations, so maybe you could highlight one or two of the really cool custom functionality pieces you've created... or since the upcoming Drupalcon theme is about mobile devices, perhaps highlighting how you perform the android to Drupal integration?
Sure thing
Sure thing. I will put together a quick five minute presentation focusing on my Android2Drupal projects and just be on call if there is time enough for another presentation. Let me know if that works for you. Thanks.
