Hi all!
Welcome to the new group for Drupal in Brighton & South East UK!
This group has been moved from its' previous location on Google Groups:
http://groups.google.com/group/drupal-brighton (now closed, posting switched off).
I realise this is a very different environment for the group but believe there are many benefits for being on the main groups.drupal site so hope you will all move over and I also give a warm welcome to any new users.

Hi Steve - good idea to have the group over here, I really liked the way we could post to google groups just by replying to messages, can we do that here?
Will be quite interesting to use these organic groups, I normally just set it all up for other sites.

Emailing replies
Hi matt,
I've been looking into that - whilst it is possible in Drupal to set it up so people can email in replies, I'm not sure they've got it hooked up on groups.drupal.
This is of course annoying, but at the end of the day I had to weigh up the benefits and disadvantages of each of the systems and believe that having our discussions here are worth sacrificing being able to email replies, which is about the only disadvantage I could find!
Perhaps it's something we could suggest to the maintainers of groups.drupal, although there's more than likely a lively discussion somewhere around on the topic...

Hehe just seen that too!
It actually falls in the last hour (6-7pm). I've just sent a lengthy email to the webinar organiser asking whether it would be possible to all join in as I think it would be an excellent way to round off the tutorial.
Will report back when I get a response...
