Start:
2006-05-08 19:00 - 20:30 America/New_York

The Boston users group is meeting for the first time. Hosted by the Berkman Center at Harvard University in Cambridge. Directions. Some of us will likely continue the conversation over dinner at a local restaurant.

I will be presenting briefly about the technology behind this groups.drupal.org web site. Afterwards, we'll open up the floor for discussion of all kinds. We will also try to decide upon a location and date for our next meeting. Volunteer hosts welcome.

I have enabled signup.module on this site and on this event. I would appreciate if people signed up here. I need to test out the software, and it would be nice to have a ballpark idea of how many will be joining us. Thanks

i've recently started a non-profit transportation advocacy group in boston called LivableStreets Alliance, and am using Drupal for the website. http://www.livablestreets.info.

we just moved into an office space near MIT, Sidney and Pacific, in Cambridge, near central sq. Let me know if you need a space for your next meetup. It has wireless internet, big tables.

sorry i can't make it tomorrow.

Bummer. We had plans to finally make a meetup of the Web Innovators Group (http://www.webinnovatorsgroup.com/ ). There aren't enough useful meetings in the Boston area that both should happen the same night this month ;-).
