All past meetups have included lively discussions and sharing of tips and tricks so join us if you can on 9 January 2007 at 6:30 .

I'd love to explore some ideas with the group about the Lullabot seminar discussions and other Drupal training / promotional efforts. I'd also like to see a walk-through of Drupal 5 and decide if it's now time to upgrade our existing 4.7 sites. Or, we can just shoot the breeze and enjoy the holiday spirit. :-)

Hi all,
I have been keeping an eye on this group for a while so thought it time to introduce myself and get involved.
I am keen to come along to one of the hook ups in Sth Melb but so far have not been able to get there.
Big focus in my life at the moment is pregnancy - due to have my little one in about 3 weeks time. Am off work at the moment and have plenty of time to relax at home. When not reading about birth and first time mum matters, I am keeping up my interest in drupal.
Have a drupal site that I built for my partner to showcase his movie reviews, it is in 4.7. I recently migrated it across to to a new host with the help of John from studio Also. Next challenge is to upgrade the site to version 5.
Have also installed a new site for my mum who sells woven rugs that she makes. Did an install of drupal 5 from scratch with this one and I have to say it is great. The re-organisation of the admin section is far more intuitive.
I am very interested in any training sessions workshops that may be in the pipeline, though I am not sure how much time and /or brain capacity I will have after the baby arrives!
Anyway - I hope I will have a chance to meet some of you at one the of meet ups soon.
