I've been trying to get to the Galway Drupal meetings for the past 2 months but due to childcare I haven't been able to attend. I would love to meet other guys in Drupal as at the moment I am a little tied to home. Is there anyone in the Loughrea / Galway area who would like to meet up?
I've just moved to Dublin to start up a web service which will be built out on Drupal. I'll be at the meetup, just to meet other Drupalers in the area.
Sadly we can no longer use Studio Rua's offices on Baggot St for our Dublin monthly meetup as they've moved out of the city centre. For the lack of a better plan, we're moving the meetup back to the Long Stone pub.
Does anyone have any better suggestions? The Long Stone does have wifi and food (though both are kinda crap) but no area where we can do presentations, etc.
We'll be moving into a big office at the end of the month to Lower Baggot St, and we'd be happy to host the monthly Dublin meeting there.
We're actually building our company web site out on Drupal, so it will be a great way to keep us involved in the community, and perhaps even spark some talks around the various modules we're using / creating / patching, etc.
We can offer wifi and presentation space, though not food or drink, at the moment (we're a startup, after all!).
Just in case people missed the thread (http://groups.drupal.org/node/225439), we decided at the last meetup to take aacraig up on his offer of the space on Baggot St as it was closer to town.
However, many thanks to @teck for his generous offer too.

I may have space in our offices at OVO to host the meetups from November onwards. Let me know if you are happy to come out to Donnybrook.
