Those on foot, this is within walking distance of the convention center (~1.0 mile). Take 14th st (street with big blue bear) toward the State Capital Building to W Colfax. Follow around the Civic Center Park where it turns into E Colfax. X Bar is on the left side of the street (next to Tom's Diner), has outdoor seating under a tent, and an 'X' sign on the front of the bar. They do serve "up-scale bar fare" at a reasonable price, which actually tastes pretty good!
