Spreading the Word of this year's DrupalCamp

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

We are starting to see a healthy signup for May's DrupalCamp, and some great submissions for sessions. It's also looking like we'll have sufficient sponsorship to ensure that the event will be free to attend - so register at http://camp.drupalscotland.org before we run out of space.

There will be features over the next few weeks in local and national media, but we want this to be the best Camp ever... so we need your help promote it even more. Tell your friends and colleagues: there are event pages on Facebook and LinkedIn if you don't like talking to them that much (please note, you still need to register on the offical Camp site regardless of your signup on a social network). Pass the word on to any user groups or student organisations who might be interested. Tell your clients. Tell your mum. Tell everyone.

Remember, this is an event organised by the community, so we really do need your help.

I've sent messages to the organisers of:

The Glasgow Web Centric Meetup Group
EdiPUG
The Edinburgh Web Design & Development Meetup Group

Asking if they could help spread the word to their members, to see if any may be interested in seeing how they could use some of their transferable skills and find out more about Drupal through the camp.
