User group meeting
Our next Users Group meeting is Thursday, May 3, 2-4pm in ISB 241H.
Our regular meetings are the first Thursday of the month.
The meeting is at the UMass Integrated Sciences Building (ISB) (See map here or see description of the building here.)
Room 241H is the "fish bowl" meeting room at the end of the hall behind the elevators on the 2nd floor.

Hi,
Noticed this meetup and was wondering if this group always meets during the day or if there are any pm meetups?

We have set up this meeting during the work day to try to get as many people as possible from the university to attend who work in Drupal, although we encourage others outside the university to attend as well. Some of us at the university live far away and can't always attend an evening meeting. There is a Western Mass Drupal User Group that meets in the evenings that might work better with your schedule.

As others have already mentioned, we haven't had any evening meetings, but this doesn't represent any official policy: you're just the first to have suggested that an evening meeting would be worth doing. It would be great to get more people involved and we'd be happy to have a scheduled evening meeting -- although we'll probably end up with different subsets of people attending.
There's also been the suggestion of organizing longer meetings to actually work on stuff together: maybe on a Saturday or something.
I'm too saturated to spend much time organizing something like that directly, but I'm happy to be supportive and can help provide access to computer labs or meeting spaces for such meetings.
We've had a standing meeting
We've had a standing meeting the first Thursday of the month at 2pm. It works for us since we're mostly based at UMass (student, faculty, staff, and occasional consultant) and many of us are here anyway.
If you are looking for a PM meeting, the Western Mass group meets nearby monthly.

The last listed event for the Western MASS group for a general Drupal meetup, is unfortunately Sept. of last year. (http://groups.drupal.org/node/172569). Maybe we could some of those folks and whoever else is interested together for an evening troubleshooting session over beers?
