Having been to Drupalcamp Oxford/Scotland recently. I think and would like to propose we do a Drupalcamp London. I'm happy to be a key organiser and get thing rolling, but on speaking with other drupalers last night they think its a good idea.

BrightLemon has already got
BrightLemon has already got the ball rolling on this. We started drafting some plans for a London Camp earlier this month and have put together a consortium of people for the planning process – it’s going well so far.
We had a good brainstorm session two weeks ago and we’re scheduling in regular planning meetings over the next few weeks.
We will be releasing more details on our progress tomorrow.
It’s great to see other people are interested in helping out, let me know if you want to attend our next planning session.

As a relative newbie to the community I would love to meet some of the other members and keep learning..
As soon as there are any firm details I will try and arrange my life to be there.. :)
Anything on this? Or is it
Anything on this? Or is it because an company is "organising" it that its nothing to do with the real community of Drupal. Bit like a dictatorship really.
Drupal Camp London
Thanks Alex
I recently invited twenty Drupal companies / individuals - who expressed in an interest in helping with the planning of a London DrupalCamp - to an initial kick off meeting. The outputs of this group will be completely open to anybody who wishes to help and the process will be 100% open and democratic. We are looking to get as much positive input from people in the Drupal community - and also other wider communities such as Symfony, PHP and MySQL.
We will be putting out a joint press release very soon, and providing as many channels and opportunities to get involved. Look forward to working with you and everyone else!
Regards
Ed
Drupal Camp London
@aburrows Hi Alex, I can confirm that Ed Brightlemon isn't fibbing! We're involved too (http://www.catchdigital.com), along with a number of other organisations active in the Drupal community. It's certainly not going to be a dictatorship I can assure you!
All community input is welcome, and we welcome yours too.

Dictatorship was harsh so
Dictatorship was harsh so appologies, just meant to put across its all very well that big companies are involved but thats not what all the community is. You have many freelance Drupalers out there who have other ideas and as a community the ideas should be heard, they have worked on big projects and can share their expertise as well in talks or organising/running it. I'm happy to be involved, and submit my domain access talk which has been successful at DC scotland and Oxford.
