Hello all,
We have a presentation on Organic Groups by Andrew Berry for September.
We don't have a topic for August 16th though.
If you think you have something interesting for others, then please propose a talk. It can be as little as half an hour, show casing a site built with Drupal, anything new in the Drupal community, ....etc.
Post below ideas and topics you have.

Tips for working with css in drupal: I find that when using drupal, the css id's and classes can get complicated pretty fast, when you have views and blocks etc., and layers of divs. I also have problems getting things to look right in ie 7. How to use conditional stylesheets? There are also some drupal modules that help with this... http://drupal.org/project/conditional_styles/

@customdigital maybe the opposite too. For example semantic_fields and fences module, where Drupal produces simplified css
I want to learn about responsive design. Sass and Compass. I watched a good presentation of Zen Grid recently.
I could present on this if no one else will.

Never knew about the semantic_fields or fences modules before. I notice fences has a stable release for D7 too, so I will have to try that out.
SASS and Compass sound like really powerful tools but also advanced level, so would make for an interesting topic?

Seems that you two have some good topics. Can you both present on Thursday? Each can get 45 minutes or so.
I have not heard confirmation from customdigital so far. Please post here if you agree to presenting, otherwise iStryker could do this month, and customdigital for October or later.

Presentation
I will be presenting on a variety of tools and method I used to convert my own website into a responsive one. This will include: dealing with menus, dealing with images, and how to accomplish this with the omega and zen grid theme. If I have time, I will include an overview Sass and Compass that enabled me speed up the design process.

So you have the entire time slot of 1.5 hours or so. You can cover Sass and Compass.
Start with an overview of what Responsive Design is, and then cover all the topics you mentioned.
