We've started creating a curriculum for the Drupal4Gov ladder and will be doing our first Learning Sprint on August 29th. We will plan future Learning and Issue sprints and hope folks in governments around the world will going us in building government specific info into the ladder.

As for the August 29th event in DC, if you're in the area, join us at OPM. http://drupal4govtake7.eventbrite.com/ The sessions have now been announced and will include lots of good fun and of course a separate room for a Drupal4Gov learning ladder sprint (advanced Drupalers will get to do an Issue Sprint, too!).

The OPM hosted event is government employee restricted, but that does mean all government employees (state, local, international, doesn't matter, just be a government employee). We will release the first 20 contractor/vendor tickets on Friday from the waitlist. If you signed up and are a contractor/vendor, watch your email for the ticket.

Wished I'd Found Out About it Earlier

This looks really interesting. Wished I knew about it earlier as I would really liked to have gotten some participation from government employees from Canada.

Great opportunity to meet leaders like Ben Balter and others who are working for open source in government.
