Thanks to everyone who came out for last night's South Florida Drupal User's meetup! It was a great turnout for your first meetup in a long time, now all that needs to be done is to build on the momentum we gained last night.
The 15+ people who attended last night seemed to really enjoy it - thanks for making Ryan and myself feel at home. One word of advice, next time DrupalEasy.com offers to buy you a beverage, you should take it - I got out of there quite inexpensively last night!
As we discussed, you guys should announce your next meetup date and location as soon as possible. I've already know of 3 people who missed the event last night who are looking forward to the next one.
Also - we know there is interest to have a meetup in "northern South Florida" (West Palm Beach area). Let's get that planned and announced in both the Miami and Florida groups so that we can continue on our path to world domination!!! (I'm getting a bit carried way now...)
Tampa, Sarasota and other SW Florida Drupalers - are you taking note of this? Pick a cafe, date, and time and post it in the group and join the fun!
We've already begun work on planning Florida DrupalCamp 2010, tentatively scheduled for February. The more Florida Drupalers involved, the better the camp will be.

Just wanted to thank you
Just wanted to thank everyone for a great meetup! It was a really good time and my team and I picked up some good info. Also, it's great to see the Drupal folks out in South Florida, from the new people looking to learn all the way up to the experienced daily users. Sorry I had to duck out early, but next time I'll have my drinking shoes on! :)

I wanted to spool back up the momentum from our first meet-up in Aventura back in August. The guys at 3CInteractive in Boca have been nice enough to provide access to their offices and awesome conference room for this month's meet-up. Big Couch Media Group will be providing food and drinks for the attendees.
