Description
What big decisions face Drupal team management? How do you ensure the lasting success of your projects and people? How does Drupal help you address needs and mitigate risks?
Based on the popular Definitive Guide to Drupal 7, this training covers ten areas that are crucial for decision makers. If you are responsible for leading a Drupal team, or are exploring adopting Drupal for your team, sign up below.
No technical experience with Drupal or web technology is required - the training is designed for a broad range of experience. The day's format is designed to give brief, broad overviews of each topic, with follow-on in small groups using hands-on examples. On-site and remote authors will lead each of the small groups.
Each participant will receive an account on two best-in-breed hosting platforms, along with a specially prepared D7 distribution for use in the hands-on examples.
Bring your laptop.
The training has been developed by OwnSourcing and will be led by several authors of the Definitive Guide to Drupal 7, including Kay VanValkenburgh (from OwnSourcing), Benjamin Melançon, Stéphane Corlosquet, Claudina Serahe and Stefan Freudenberg.
Pre-session help with setup
Each participant will receive an email confirming their registration. It contains instructions on setting laptops up in advance. From 9-10am resources will be on hand to help people install and set up tools and sandbox.
